During the German occupation of Kozyatyn (1941–1943), the occupation administration issued special tokens for a single hot meal at the railway canteen of Kozyatyn station. They were given to local locomotive drivers of the depot, Ukrainian train crews, and railway service staff. The same tokens were also issued to prisoners of war, who were later sent to build Hitler's "Werwolf" headquarters near Vinnytsia. Obverse: inscription "1 Essen" ("one meal"). Reverse: inscription "Bahnbetriebswerk Kasatin 1 ukr. Küche" ("Locomotive Depot Kozyatyn 1 Ukr, Kitchen"). The token was donated to the museum by Leonid Pavlovych Kryvov, a local historian and researcher of Kozyatyn's history during the German occupation in World War II.
