ISBN 978-966-919-606-4 This reference catalogue is devoted to the coin-like tokens, keychains and medals of the "Eastern Calendar" series, issued over the years by the Luhansk Machine-Tool Plant (LSZ) and the Luhansk Cartridge Plant (LPZ). Thanks to their high artistic quality, informative design and fine workmanship, LSZ and LPZ souvenir tokens attract more and more collectors every year. The catalogue is based mainly on the authors' three collections. Yakiv Mykhailovych Brel, former chairman of the LPZ board, actively helped gather the materials. Materials and advice from a number of collectors and experts from Luhansk, Kyiv, Dniprodzerzhynsk and Moscow were also used. This publication is only one section of a general catalogue of tokens of the Luhansk Machine-Tool Plant, and later the Luhansk Cartridge Plant, which is being prepared for print. As this section was ready before the others, the authors decided to publish it as a separate issue ahead of the full catalogue. The book is dedicated to all the workers of the Luhansk Machine-Tool and Cartridge Plants. The publication is intended for researchers and collectors.
