Author: Andrii Brazhnyk Publisher: Mailer LLC Language: Russian Moscow, 2008. 212 pp. Print run: 300 copies. Version of 31.07.2008. ISBN 978-5-903922-12-3 This catalogue presents, for the first time, photographs, tabular descriptions and summarised information on more than 450 varieties of coin-like tokens. They were issued by the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine, the Luhansk Cartridge Plant (Luhansk Machine-Tool Plant — the First Mint of Ukraine), various Ukrainian public organisations, and others. The catalogue also includes information on more than 100 coin-like tokens dedicated to Ukraine that were issued in other countries, including by the Ukrainian diaspora in Canada. The catalogue was compiled from five private collections. The catalogue consists of two parts: 1. Description of tokens: from the Luhansk Cartridge Plant, Kyiv, Odesa, other Ukrainian cities, unknown makers, emigrants, and foreign commercial organisations. This part includes tables and notes. 2. Articles on the subject: on the Luhansk Cartridge Plant, the "Hetman" and "Gardarika" projects, NBU tokens, tokens of Ukrainian emigrants, and more. The book is an illustrated reference for collectors of Ukrainian-themed tokens. It will also be of interest to anyone curious about the recent history of Ukraine from an informal point of view.
