Sophia of Kyiv

July 25, 2026. St. Sophia of Kyiv is one of the most important monuments of Ukraine and one of the few buildings from the time of Kievan Rus that have survived to this day. The cathedral was built in the first half of the 11th century under Prince Yaroslav the Wise (although historians continue to debate the exact date of the start of construction) and became the main spiritual, political and cultural center of the state. https://taslife.com.ua
